Gagne the Hero Again as Flyers Make History, 4-3

When history is recounted and people recall the events that led to perhaps the greatest comeback in a seven-game series in all of professional sports, the name Simon Gagne should be prominent in any recollection. Having suffered a fracture of his right foot on April 20th in game four of the first round against the New Jersey Devils when he blocked an Ilya Kovalchuk slap shot, Gagne was slated to miss

Bruins Lean on their Tower of Power

There were a lot of factors that went in to the Boston Bruins 4-2 series victory over the Buffalo Sabres. The season did not go the way Bruins captain Zdeno Chara would have liked. After

Tim Thomas; Class of the NHL

If any Boston Bruins player had a reason to complain about the way this season turned out, it is the reigning Vezina Trophy winner, Tim Thomas. Tim Thomas is a great goaltender and an even better teammate. He is a perfect example of a role model in the NHL.
